I recently bought the TV, sound bar and blu ray player. The guy at the store where I bought all of this said the sound bar's remote could be used with my Comcast remote. I can't get it to work with the provided codes and it won't learn the sound bar code. So I have deceided to get a universal remote. I don't want to have to point it directly so I'm not sure if I need IR or RF. Also not sure if my eqpt. will support it. Any help would be appreciated.
THANKS

I just went through this process myself and the question that will be asked is what is your budget. There are a huge number of remotes on the market with a broad array of capabilities.

Ok. Couldnt wait for help so I pulled the trigger on the Harmony One. Its awesome. Does everything I need. Easy to set up and if there is a problem with the remote not doing what it is supposed to a help screen will help and fix it for you. Very nice. Easy to add devices. Highly recommend. Looked at the 1100 but felt it wasn't worth the extra 100 bucks.
