I'm in Nevada. My parents are in California. I want to get a remote that is fairly easy for them to use...and one that I can program and make changes remotely (with them doing as little of the work as possible).
Is the Harmony One a good choice for this? Thx!

You can log into the Harmony website and make changes to the remote (add devices, set up activities, etc), but your parents will have to plug it in to their computer and download the changes. However, once it's set up properly, your parents shouldn't have any problems with it. I bought my Harmony 880 specifically for my wife and kids, and they haven't had one problem with it - the guided help process will solve most on/off/not working problems that pop up.

Thanks kegobeer! That's what I wanted to hear. I PCAnywhere into their machine now, so, it shouldn't be a huge deal for them to connect up the remote. I was originally looking for a Pronto (since that is what I have), but needed a lower end (lower cost) remote that would do the job. Thx!
