Hey All,

The day has finally come to replace my Pronto TS-1000.

It has served me well over the years. Unfortunately it met the
demise of my 2 year old recently. :-(

I'm looking to replace but I'm at a loss of what is "similar". I've been
off the website for awhile and to be honest I don't have the many
hours/days to research a good replacement. I'm looking for a helpful
kickstart in the right direction.

Things that I would like:

- Color Touchscreen
- Hard Buttons
- Programmability (USB?)
- RF (I'm Hardwired for IR)
- Size (Pronto size or similar)
- Price $400-$600

Anyhoo what do you guys think would be a good replacement?

Lumpy

P.S. I'll be trying out the Clicker Picker also to see what pops up.

I replaced a Pronto TSU3500 with a TSU7000 and am pretty happy with it. You can get the TSU7000 on ebay for about $150 (I found another locally on Craigslist for $50 so now I have a backup). The screen is bright, the programming software is freely available, and there are lots of designs in the files area (I use a modified Tonks design). I use it with an RFX6000 so I don't need line of sight.

While I would like a 9400 or 9600 I can't really justify the extra cost.
