I would like to purchase a remote that my young son can use in the back seat of our car and run the factory installed dvd player. Is there a code that would work on some of the universal remotes or is there a VERY simple remote that i could program with a learning function for the simple commands of just volume, fast forward reverse and pause. I am not sure who manufactures the dvd player for toyota

Did it come with a remote? If not, then there probably is no IR input go allow it to be controlled via remote.

How much I have known, there are some remotes which can simply be used, mean it can be used directly. So why don't you go and have a try with that one. Do tell me about what you have done about your DVD. Toyota Dealer in LA
