What are the main differences between Philips' TSU9600 and Harmony 1000 other than just price? I would appreciate any help on this....thanks in advance.

Harmony is going to be much more consumer-oriented and would be much easier to program. Philips is going to be much more customizable and pro or computer-savvy oriented.
There's also smaller differences, but that's the main thing that comes to mind.
