I am having the darnest time programming this tv for this remote control. Using code search is turning the unit off, but it will not respond when trying to turn it on or anything else. Please help or direct me to the right solution.
thanks, fito

Try posting under "Other remote controls."

The remote is probably not compatible with your device, or at least not fully.

Just trash the remote and get a beter one.

Hey Daniel, what happened to the tag "It's My First Day?

This is not the OP's first day, the 8th was.

Give Admiral & Emerson tv codes a try.

Try codes 006, 208, and 189.

Of course, edmund always can come through with solutions!

Didn't realize that he joined on the 8th and didn't post until the 10th.

What I like about the RCUSAT1, was it ability to control x10 RF transceivers directly.

EDMUND,
THANKS A LOT FOR THE FEEDBACK.
IT ONLY SHUTS OFF AND TURNS BACK ON.
THE OTHER FUNCTIONS DO NOT WORK.
MY CHEAPEST SOLUTION WAS TO ADD A VCR TO IT AND USE THE VCR TO CHANGE THE CHANNELS. I STILL HAD TO GET UP AND ADJUST THE VOLUME.
THANKS FOR TRYING.
FITO
