Hi,

Is it possible to custom make a remote with a single button which has both on and off state (when pressed it sends the on command, when pressed again, it sends the off command) onto a circular volume control like knob, which can also be rotated to change the volume?

Possible? Anything's possible, especially for an engineer. Economically viable? Depends on how many you need.
