Hey everyone. I have a viore 22'' flat panel LCD tv. I lost the remote and the company is charging way to much for a replacement, and they don't have any. anyone knows of a good universal remote for a VIORE lc22vh55

Yes, the Pronto TSU 9600 would work perfectly with it, Or you could go with the RTI T3-V, or even anything from Crestron.

I hope that helped you out.

Hanokin,

The reply above by anyhoneneeds is simply nonsense. He seems to think it is funny to suggest an expensive remote when people with simple needs request advice.

Any learning remote will do what you want but only if they have the right codes for your TV. So, you need a remote with a big database of codes. Given this, I suggest a Logitech Harmony. A quick check suggests that, whilst it does not have the codes for you precise model, it does have the codes for other Voire TVs and hopefully these will work for you.

ps. I doubt whether any learning remote would be cheaper than the quote that you got for a replacement, though.

Guy,

hanokin asker for, "a good universal remote ", and never mentioned his price range. Also, I'm not sure where you came up with the idea of a learning remote, it was never mentioned.

It is obvious from his question that he wanted a simple remote and, indeed, he said that the reason for his question was that a replacement Voire remote was too expensive for him. It is equally obvious that none of your suggestions were at all suitable for him.

I've discovered that most posts by anyhomeneeds are nonesense. Let's look at the case at hand. The user has a Viore LC22VH55 TV, which currently costs $228 at Walmart. He claims that a replacement remote from Viore is too expensive, and I'm guessing the replacement remote is cheaper than getting a complete new TV, so that sets the price at something considerably less than the $228 that a new TV would cost.

AHN suggested the following three alternatives:
Pronto TSU 9600
RTI T3-V
Crestron

According to Google, the Pronto TSU9600 sells from $760 to $1,089

Creston and RTI products are only available through dealers and home installers, so I don't think those are reasonable solutions to the OPs problem.

I found the Logitech Harmony 300 works extremely well, is very affordable, and I agree that this is a good solution.
