I've discovered that most posts by anyhomeneeds are nonesense. Let's look at the case at hand. The user has a Viore LC22VH55 TV, which currently costs $228 at
Walmart. He claims that a replacement remote from Viore is too expensive, and I'm guessing the replacement remote is cheaper than getting a complete new TV, so that sets the price at something considerably less than the $228 that a new TV would cost.
AHN suggested the following three alternatives:
Pronto TSU 9600
RTI T3-V
Crestron
According to Google, the Pronto TSU9600 sells from $760 to $1,089
[Link: google.com]Creston and RTI products are only available through dealers and home installers, so I don't think those are reasonable solutions to the OPs problem.
