I have the following equipment and would like to get a remote that will run them all. The problem I have had in the past is that there is always ONE function that I need that does not seem to be available on the remote. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

SONY Bravia KDL 40S2000 (Television)
Onkyo TX-SR302 (A/V Receiver)
Motorola DCT6412 (Time-Warner HD DVR Box)
Phillips DVP5960 (DVD Player)

If you get a remote that is 100% programmable like URC's MX-850 or 900 you can make whatever buttons you like, you'll never miss a thing. Just buy it from an authorized dealer. You can find them in here..Surf Remotes et al....

Programmable as in computer programmable, no.

Programmable meaning full learning for every button, yes. But you also don't have access to as many discrete or "advanced" codes that help you automate your system through macros.

Yes!

You can get a Harmony for under $100. It will have EVERY function available on your original remotes, and quite possibly some functions that aren't even on your original remotes...eg discretes for inputs and power.
