I need the RS-232 commands for power on and power off. I am controlling it with a RTI XP-8 and I have not had a chance to look at the documents yet. I'm hoping somebody has already done this.

Yes, the codes in the RTI megalist for the DLA-HDX should work fine for this unit. You must use a null modem adapter as well. I have a DLA-HD1 in my own theater room and am using RS-232 with an XP-8 and it works perfectly.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried the JVC/Projector/DLAx commands in the Mega232list with no success. I have a null modem adapter and the Rx light on the projector flashes when I send the command.

The model I have is one of the first JVC DLA projectors, it has an external DVDO video processor that I have in the rack. I wouldn't think JVC would have the same command set for this model (it has only one input, the processor has several) as the current lineup with all the input commands etc. that are built-in to the projector.
