has any one gone down the cheap road of universal control and managed to integrate the IP controlled Ewelink and Sonoff products yet?
id like to look into this

You'll have to write a driver or pay someone to write the driver with the information given in their API, and thats if all the protocols are compatible with RTI's infrastructure.
Alternatively you could use IFTTT as a middle man and fire commands back and forth between RTI and Ewelink via IFTTT as there is already an IFTTT driver.
