Trying to control a 75UH6550 with no luck. You have to get in to the service menu to turn on RS232 which we have done but still have had no luck controlling the unit via Crestron or AMX. We have a 60UH6550 that works perfect right out of the box. On the phone now with the fifth person with LG......getting a little beyond frustrated.

Any luck after talking to the fifth LG rep? I'm working on this now and also have no luck with the provided codes in the manual.

Give up, it doesn't work. I spent days working on this and talked to more LG people than I cared to.....apparently this is THAT feature that is not available on all models.

We actually just figured out a work around to control the 75uh6550 via Crestron. We used a Lantronix RS-232 over IP adapter, RS-232 to mini cablr and also needed a null modem adapter with it, plug it into the "service" mini port. Make sure you have downloaded the latest and greatest software for the TV and bingo, you now are able to control all functions via Crestron including ON/OFF, msg me if you need any further details.

So the question is, why do we have to go through all this BS? RS232 should be a no-brainer when it comes to control. So you are controlling via IP protocols from the Crestron processor and converting to 232 with the Lantronix?
