I am controlling a YAMAHA BD-A1040 Bluray player via Crestron. All my commands are working flawless except for "power on". I'm using a Crestron module that was originally created for the BD-A1010. It seems to be working fine except for the "power on" issue. I've also tried bypassing the module and sending the command string \x0207CF60\x03 via SIO. Still can't get it to work. Anyone out there have any suggestions. It would be much appreciated.

Have you tried sending the code twice? I have an Elite AVR and when it's asleep, I need to send the RS232 "on" command twice with a .1 second delay. First one wakes it up and second turns it on.

Sadly yes. I too have run across that same issue with a different player in the past. Didn't work this time. Thanks though.

You know come to think of it. My delay was .2 not .1. I wonder if that would make the difference?
