(For the rest of you, "beamer" is a German "pseudo-Anglicism" for video projector.)

Sony unfortunately does not equip every model with a protocol description document. But the commands do not differ that much between the different models, AFAIK. Here is a similar document, that should serve your purpose.

BTW, I have a VPL-HW50, successfully controlled with my own Java code. Let me know if you are interested.

The codes are the same as my old Sony Beamer PX11. Since nothing has changed, except the new stuff like 3D.
I'll try out the codes
