Hi all

With the new 2015 TV releases knocking last years models prices down so low I'm looking at upgrading my TV. Based on reviews I have narrowed it down to either the Sony 55W829 or Samsung 55H6200 (or 55H6240).

One of my key requirements is the ability to control the TV either via RS232 or IP, including power on! As I don't want horrible little IR blasters stuck onto the TV.

My current Samsung TVs are controlled via RS232 perfectly, but the H6200 from what I can tell has no service port.

After a good 30 minutes of searching I'm coming up with nothing, does anyone know if either of these will be controllable and if the protocol is documented anywhere?

Thanks
