Hi

Every time I search for help on AV control problems, I always end op here.
So I hope you mite be able to help med with control of my new projekter.

The projekter is an Sony VPL-HW55ES, and I got the protocol manual and the HEX commands already. I think the problem is with the cable connection.

Here is the connection layout from the manual:

The connection on the projekter is female, I want to control it from my Global Cache GC-100, witch have a male serial port. I have testet with a nulmodem cabel I use with my Pioneer Kuro, by adding a male/male adapter, with no luck.

Can someone help me find the right cable type from the layout?
I need is a 9pin male/female

Thanks for you help

Try a straight-through cable, without the null modem.

Hi Peter, thanks for your reply.

I just tried a straight cable, but it did not work.

I will try to modify the cable, and setup the wires as I read the layout from the manual.
