I have been operating my Yamaha RXV3000 receiver by sending text files from my pc via rs232 com port. It works great and one advantage is being able to do a bunch of things at once real fast. i'm now trying to do the same thing with a Denon AVR receiver but i have to put a 1 second pause between each command otherwise only the first command gets executed. the rs232 manual for the Denon AVR mentions having to wait 1 second after executing power before anything else will be received. It would appear this holds true for everything however. Was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this and if there is way to avoid the 1 second pause.
