Hi

I'm trying to control this TV using the RTI XP-6 and have not been able to find any codes out there. I've tried a driver tested with a VT50 but that did not work.

I was wondering, does anyone know where to get these codes from? Is it even possible to find them? I know Panasonic have their Viera TV app and that works well.

Thanks
Shai

You know there is a Viera app that allows full IP control of this TV, right?

Some Pana TV like the PF9 and others also offered IP control, and I do have 232 codes for that TV. It would help if Pana offered a full manual and not the ridiculous "e-help" manual with the cartoon drawings.

Hi

Apologies for the delay in replying. Yes, I know about the Viera app and it is really good, is there any way to integrate this app with the RTI console?

This TV doesn't have RS232 as far as I can see. I can't find any IR codes for this TV either.

Would any other TV IR commands work as a workaround?

Looking at what pictures I could find, I did not find an RS232 connection. IR codes for panasonic are very common. What have you tried so far?

I have been looking for a full suite of commands to be honest so haven't really tried any individual commands so far, but I will give these ones a go and see how the TV responds.

Thanks

I didn't post a full list because you have a Non-us model of TV, and I can't verify the codes I sent you. So I am sent you a few panasonic discretes. If they work, then perhaps the rest of the code set will work, and I will post it. I don't want to post an entire set of something without verifying. Otherwise people will get confused in the future when they invariably google search that model number.

That's perfect. I appreciate the help!

I'll try those now and report back.

I've tried those 3 commands and they are all working, I am happy to report. I think I may have found some commands but they are not all working, so it's been trial and error.

I'd be happy to test anymore of the code set if you can post them. Thanks again for your help, I am new to all of this.

Try any of the “Panasonic Discrete” commands in the RTI database.
