Joe homeowner here in need of some advice...
I have a couple URC MX810 remotes and a MSC-400 controller that have apparently shot craps. I need the MSC-400 to run RS-232 to a video matrix and I need a replacement for the remotes. They need to be IR/RF as well. My original installer has since lost his business and isn't interested in getting back into AV work.
Is there anything out there that is DIY programmable to run a controller w/RS-232 output? Should I replace it with another MSC-400 controller or is there something out there that's better for a DIYer?

I know there's lots of pro's on this forum, but if at all possible I need to do this myself. My wife wasn't happy with the last AV bill, and she's really gonna throw a fit if I have to pay someone to reprogram everything after just a couple years on top of the price of the new remotes, etc.
Thanks in advance.
