Realize this is a super basic question, but still need the answer.

When tying in the above example Radio Ra2 command into RTI software, Do I literally type in the carriage return or enter it as shown ?

Same question for the Line Feed command.


Have not "messed" with RS 232 and am only needing a few very basic commands to work via the RTI remote. Basically, I only need key pad button presses. I don't need any extensive control of RadioRa2 from the remote control.

EDIT: Interesting, but when posted the info in the brackets gets removed from my post. Should show (CR) (LF) at the end, but with <> symbols instead of ()

Your command needs a \r at the end.

Thanks. Caught that the software was entering the commands in that manner.

In a place with no phone or internet service of any kind, so no on site help from Tech support. Praying the RTI commands work right out of the box.

If not, what's another trip to the beautiful countryside. :)
