Hello,
I'm trying to control Sony STR-DA3600ES via smartphone. I know that exist special application AV Receiver Remote for iPhone, but the problem is that exist 2 version of this receiver (US and Europe) and the second one doesn't work with that application. I spy my receiver by DeviceSpy from Intel AppUp and found many function in root STR-DA3600ES. I have tested them and all works fine with exception one: SendIRCC.
I read many topic about the Sony SIRC and tried pronto:
0000 0067 0000 0010 0060 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0366
for "Power" without results. I only get message: "Cannot accept the IRCC Code"
Eventually find this:
[Link: remotecentral.com]
I decoded function:
Stop:AAAAAwAAHFoAAAAYAw==
which give me value:
Hex: 00 00 00 03 00 00 1c 5a 00 00 00 18 03
Decimal: 0 0 0 3 0 0 28 90 0 0 0 24 3
I found special number about DeviceCode for BD: 035A1C00001800000083
Some of the numbers are the same, but I don't know algorithm of creating the command.
Please help me.

Are you trying to control via the ethernet link? if so there is a protocol manual available in the files section.
[Link: files.remotecentral.com]

The command you list for BD is from a Sony programmable remote which equates to device 26.226 command 18h which is "Stop" and is standard IR code.

Yes, I'm using Ethernet. Before I created this topic I check the files which are in the link. I know from documentation that this command is refer to 26.226, but how read it from:
Hex: 00 00 00 03 00 00 1c 5a 00 00 00 18 03

I ask because if I know what means every value in this message I could create command for STR-DA3600ES with using files which are in the link.

Lets use your example
Hex: 00 00 00 03 00 00 1c 5a 00 00 00 18 03
Decimal: 0 0 0 3 0 0 28 90 0 0 0 24 3

Open excel
put 90 in N15
put 28 in O15

put in cell N17 =DEC2BIN(N15,8)
put in cell O17 =DEC2BIN(O15)
put in cell P17 =O17&N17

put in cell N19 =BIN2DEC(VALUE(RIGHT(N17,5)))
put in cell O19 =BIN2DEC(VALUE(LEFT(P17,8)))

this is how you get 26.226 from the above
24 is the command function

Sony generally have been using the following to indicate the command length
01 = Sony 12
02 = Sony 15
03 = Sony 20

I can only guess thats the reason for the 03 in the string

Thats a start, will look into it a bit more tomorrow

Thank You very much.
You said

You taking about "00 00 00 03" on the start or "03" which is at the end ?

So if I have device 48 and command 15 (power).
Pronto
0000 0067 0000 0010 0060 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0366
Sony code
02300000001500000083

I'm not quiet sure:
00 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 15 03
or
00 00 00 03 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 15 02

Maybe I'm wrong.

You might want to take a look at the document named

ProntoEdit's IR Display Format (DOC)

In the files section of remote central.

It has a complete analysis of Sony IR codes and how they relate to Pronto HEX format.

To find it use a search or search for all contributions by Barry Gordon

I use CIS-IP communication, eventually. But I found that files which are in section of remote central don't have the leatest function of IR. For example how to get status of sleep timer. Does anyone have newer version?
