Hi all,

I have a client with a few Sharp LCDs that I need to control va one-way RS-232. Pretty much, I am looking to do two things. First, I would like a Windows app that I can have just preset RS-232 strings for POWER ON and POWER OFF. Secondly, it would be great if those commands could also be scheduled for auto on and off.

Sharp has a control program for those TVs, but unfortunately it really needs Rx hooked up on the serial to work. We are using Kramer twisted pair video/serial transmitters and receivers, and for four TVs. Getting extenders with bi-directional serial wasn't in the budget.

Ideas would be great!
