Hi,

My first post here:-), and my first installation with Panasonic Home Cinema projectors.

Does anyone have the RS-232 command for the Memory Load and Parameter 1-16?

I have all the other commands, and of course you can use the function command, arrow up/down and enter. But why use 3 commands when you can use one direct.....

Panasonic and my supplier only refers to the manual and the function command.

Thanks J.Todd but if you look closer on page 52 in the manual you don't find the command for the Memory Load that i'm looking for.

Hi Guy's,

Sorry to highjack your thread but I just wondered if you could help me out with the RS232 commands for my PT_AE3000 to use with my Pronto. I've had a look through the manual but can sort it out and none i have made work.

Thanks Luke

Luke,
What have you tried so far?
\x02PON\x03 should be the power on command.

\x02PON\x03 should be the power on command.

I tried the command above with my PT AE 3000, but it didn't work. Question, doest the "\x02" equate to the "STX" in the manual or do I just need the "x02"?

Is there a certain way to send the string, or if I use the windows hyper terminal to send the string "\x02POF\x03", my projector should turn off?

So far I've had no luck communicating with my projector via the serial port.

One last question. My computer has no serial ports, so I have to use a serial to USB cable. The computer shows the serial connection and assigns a COM port. Will the PT AE-3000 communicate through a serial to USB connection?
