Does someone had an issue with the somfy shades control RTS interface, I have done all that somfy recomends, and I for the life of me cant get this things to work via RS232, I am using an MSC400 with an MX6000 and I have done all the programming in the MSC and the remote and no avail, can someone offer some advise as to what steps to take to make this work, I am sure that something simple is being missed but this has become hell .
I am using the URC Cable for RS232 from the MCS I assume that the pin out is common the pin out for the RST controller I got from somfy and just made the connection via cat 5 and I do have the RTS controller on the channel 1 to control via RS232 the shades move with the buttons on the back of the controller

Which RTS interface? URTSI or URTSII?

If using the URTSII pin 3 of the MSC to pin 3 of the RTS, Pin 2 of the MSC to pin 6 of the RTS and pin 5 of the MSC to pins 7&8 of the RTS for straight through, for null or crossover, flip pins 2 and 3 of the MSC.

Thank you for that information, I think there is something wrong with My MSC because I checked the pin out and I still dont get any response, I used Rs232 Monitor to check the commands from computer to RTSII controller and then I got response but when I conect the MSC nothing, o well I will keep on triying thank you.
