I’m trying to control a power controller called ‘ServerLink PDU’ through IP (http), using an AMX controller. It uses snmp, and I can enter the html commands into my browser to directly turn channels ON or OFF.

For instance to turn the first two channels ON, I would type this into the browser: [Link: 192.168.0.31]
The issue is that I need to authenticate first, which is easy to do when using Internet browser, since it will just prompt and ask. But to do so via AMX, I need to embed the username and password into this command.

Does anyone know how I can do that?
