Working with a liftbox lift and contacted the company to get the Rs232 codes...

Surprised to see something I couldn't make heads or tails of....
I need to convert these to full Hex Codes.

Yes I have the liftbox Rs232 adaptor installed in the unit....

File is on RapidShare site to be downloaded for viewing.

Ex: Key Up (motor group 1) Byte 1 61H Byte 2 61H
Down (motor group 1) Byte 1 62H Byte 2 62H

Key 1 Byte 1 5AH Byte 2 1 Byte 3 0 Byte 4 5AH xor 1

????????

Please and Thank You

i would say the commands should look like this:  (in hex)

Up (motor group 1)          61 61
Down (motor group 1)      62 62
Up (motor group 2)          65 65
Down (motor group 2)      69 69

for the saved position commands:

Key 1       5A 1 0 5B
Key 2       5A 2 0 58
Key 3       5A 3 0 59
Key 4       5A 4 0 5E
Key 5       5A 5 0 5F
Key 6       5A 6 0 6C

Can you show me what put these through and how to get them into a usable format....

I was trying to use hex to IR and some others and I think I may be just confusing myself into a corner of frustration.

that is an RS232 protocol that uses a Hex format instead of ASCII, I don't think you are going to be able to convert these to IR Hex codes.

what control system are you using?

Control 4 on this particular one.....It used to be in an RTI system and I was unable to extract the remote or processor when it was removed so I nothing of reference.

Ill have to look at the driver builder when I open C4 in the house with the lift, so that I can test these....
