Hey guys.
I have a problem and its doing my head right in. I have a Nevo S70 and I'm trying to get it to control my df solutions media server via IP (first time i have ever tried IP control). I have a document from DF giving me the API messages to send to the Base but no matter what i do i cant get it to work. I have bumbled about for weeks trying to find where i'm going wrong but i'm at a loss. (i dont like asking for help but this has got me stumped.)
The book says "an entire message is delimited by * and # at each end, followed by a carriage return.
It also says that each field within a mesage should be encompassed by square brackets and if a field is optional i should still include a set of brackets.
The api make up is thus:-
msg type, output id,reply port, user use, parameter 1, parameter 2, parameter 3 through to parameter 9.
SO i want to send a command for mimicking the IR remote that was supplied to output 1 so in my mind the message should look like this
*[IrCmd][1][][CursorUp][][][][][][][][]#
so translated into ASCII
42 91 73 114 67 109 100 93 91 49 93 91 93 91 93 91 67 117 114 115 111 114 85 112 93 91 93 91 93 91 93 91 93 91 93 91 93 91 93 91 93 35
Is this right? Any pointers would be awesome
