Has any one had any luck controlling the new Apple TV Black via ethernet yet?

Obviously, it can be done. That's how the Apple TV iPad app works.

the app is using home share which seems to be encrypted, so if any out there writes appo can you confirm this?

as far is i knows it's impossible to controle the Atv2.. The first apple tv is controlable trough pairing instead of home sharing..

Im sure there is away some how the guys at Fire core who have re witten the ATV2 Firmware might have a way to do it but they are mega busy at the moment...

Would be so cool to get ethernet control back again..
