I've scanned through this thread and couldn't find what I'm looking for. I'm successfully controlling my HR-21 via IP from my iPad using iRule. It has all the functionality of the original remote. However, I also have the Directv iPad app installed and noticed that there are a couple of functions on the app that aren't on the original remote, 2.5 minute skip forward is one of them. I would like to use this command (a lot) while watching recordings but I hate switching back and forth between iRule and the Directv app. The command is obviously available but I don't know where to find it so I can incorporate it into iRule. The standard 30 second skip command is "Remote/processKey?Key=Advance" Does anyone know the command for the 2.5 minute skip? Thanks.

Don't know much about irule, but the control systems we use have the ability to repeat a command until the button is let go, or you can easily create a macro with the with 30 second skip commnad (just make it do an advance 5 times). Don't know if you can do this in irule, it would be less than powerful if you can not.

Thanks, vbova27. Yes, iRule can repeat commands as well as change the duration of the repeat. The 2.5 minute skip is nice because you push the button once and it automatically skips forward 2.5 minutes, then resumes. I'll have to play around with the macros on that button and see what happens. Thanks for the tip.
