I want to control a mode 4 jukebox with an RTI system. I was told by speakercraft that i was able to through the 232, but they do not have the 232 codes anymore as they do not support it. They are looking to see if they can find them for me, but i figured i would try here.

the control system is an RTI xp8, with RK3 inwall panels. I am connected directly out of the 232 port to the mode jukebox. I dont want to have to put an RSA 1.0 in if i dont have to. from what tech support tells me i shouldnt have to.

can anyone help? I'm going back tomorrow to hopefully finish the install.

I've never integrated a mode 4 jukebox but I have done several MZC systems via RS-232 and RTI, and everyone of those I have needed to use the RSA 1.0 to make it work.

These are the people who made your Jukebox, Speakercraft simply rebadged it!

I don't see why you would need the RSA 1, that is simply an interface for the MZC, which you don't have.
Contact Imerge direct, unless you can find what you're looking for on their site.

This is from the 'Dealer' section of the Imerge website:

RTI have created a simple yet powerful two-way module for controlling Imerge media servers. Incorporating the XiVALink3 protocol, this new module is compatible with the MS5000, MS1 and S3000 (upgraded to 3.6 or higher) and offers the following functionality:-

Features:
■Audio & Video Library
■Browsing by artwork, tracks, album, artist, genre, year, era & playlists
■Full metadata and artwork over TCP/IP
■Build Play Queues (Jukebox)
■Film Synopsis
■Transport control
Version: 1.0

Notes: This driver is for Imerge and other XiVA-powered Media Server systems. The driver should be used with an IP connection but can support an RS-232 connection.

You can obtain this from RTI.
