I am having difficulty getting the RTI XP8 to communicate with the NILES ICS system via the RS232G. Neither of the manufactures want to support the other. I have been successful using hyperterminal to verify communication from the XP8 but not from the GXR .I understand the command syntax and have the RS232 documents from both RTI and NILES. I have verified cable continuity, null-modem, and Buad, Parity, Stop, etc. My problem is that I cant seem to connect to either device, as when I send the command I get nothing back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
