Tried to get Panny to send the specific 232 protocol for the 65VT25 plasma but they never actually faxed it (nor did they want to give it out). Has anyone seen a document for this TV that provides more control than the manual states? The older panny documentation does provide working power and input and other commands but some new features are screaming for discrete control.

3D Modes... this seems to be a menu selection only which sucks. We had to create macros to enter the menu and toggle 3D on/off or toggle modes. if you did not return to the native mode BEFORE you turned 3D off, the Comcast non-3D aspect would be whacked

Recently I called the Panny support line and asked if there were any new RS232 commands for discrete selection of 3D modes for the VT25 models. I was told that there were none.

In my experience Panny support has not been hesitant to provide RS232 command docs. I call and they email them to me almost immediately.

Hi - a bit of a resurrection here but has anyone had any more luck finding discrete RS232 commands for 3D mode selection?

Further to this, also for the EPG/Guide button?

The provided Panasonic RS232 command set documentation does not detail these commands. We would all love to know what they are... if they exist! Otherwise we'll need to go down the route of IP control I guess...

Any input much appreciated.
