Hello, I'm working on a project in which the electrician has a vantage Q master processor controlling lights in the home theater I'm installing. I have an MSC-400 unit with MX-980 remote as the controls for the theater. I need the rs-232 protocol for the Q master so I can control it from the MX-980 and unfortunately the electrician does not want to give me the codes. Does anyone have this?
Thanks,
Leo

Hi,
In Design centre (vantage) you can assign light task to any custom made incoming rs232 message. So you need to send an rs232 command to the processor, and make a software patch in DC.
Why doesnt he want to help you? In fact, your customer has the right to decide what he wants?
Anyway, if you have the software, and you are on the local network, you can do a trick to download the program.
