I have commands for power on and off, as well as Hdmi commands over ex-link and they work fine. Does anyone have commands for 3d and left, right, enter, etc?

Thanks
Jon

I have a pn50c8000 plasma and exlink works perfectly for on, off, inputs, volume. If I can just get arrows and Internet I don't need it at all.

I have heard that some samsunga will not turn with exlink, luckily my plasma does.

Ex-Link works very well on all of the 2008 and newer models ( including power ON ). If you are using URC ( with MSC400 ) there is an entire thread on their forum - under rs232 control - including a file with a full set of commands . For crestron guys there is a module in yahoo Crestron user group . For everybody else :

If there's an EX-Link port, RS232 will work. No receive. Cable is part number AA39-00311A from www.samsungparts.com

There is a Samsung app to test all the codes from a computer.

So are there no cursor codes? I have found a few exlink documents all missing cursor arrow commands

You're correct , i just checked my docs including EventGhost plug-in and URC file and it seems like there's every command except cursor arrows .

I think Im missing a byte on these codes you post, I have been told that Samsung uses 6 bytes with a checksum, and that the first two bytes are 08h, and 22h (for Crestron control), so with help the translation of the first code seems to be 08h, 22h, \x0c, \x00, and \x00. but I dont see the last byte or the checksum value. Do you have the document you posted these from?
You posted "3DModeOff0x0c0x000x00" But I am not sure how to translatethat into the codes I have working, for example POWER ON exlink in hex is 08h,22h,00h,00h,00h,02h, D4 checksum

So I would expect the 3d off code to be like:
08h,22h,0c (whatever that is in hex),00h,00h, and missing the rest
maybe another 00?

Thanks
Jon

I have a un55b8500. I have all the rs232 codes working through the ex link port except power on. Ive read that others have had a similar issue with this (something to do with the tv powering down the ex link port while in standby).

Does anyone know how I can get power on to work? I've been pulling my hair out over this for days and there's not much left.

Thx
