i have all the codes working that are listed in the manual for the LC-42d64u  television that I am using.  But they dont list codes for the menu button, individual digits, exit button, and so on.

Do these codes exist, or do I have to use i/r for these commands?

thanks

just got off the phone with sharp tech support.   they say the codes do not exist for rs232.  :(

i must say that i am impressed with their tech support.  the operator and the tech support guy both sounded like americans who spoke perfect english.  they answered right away and the whole call took about 6 minutes.

go sharp!  :)
