The new NEC 'V' series LCD's are IP controllable, as are the commercial Panasonics when you add the LAN card.

Yamaha has 3 receivers that are IP controllable. They also have an iphone app for these three apps.
RX-V3900
RX-V2065
RX-27

Also Direct TV is adding IP control to several of their boxes. This is very Beta currently. See discussion at dbstalk in the cutting edge forum. (This is a hidden forum, registration required).

I've seen reports that TIVO, series 3 and Apple TV are IP controllable.

Remember, just because a device has an ethernet port, doesn't mean that it is IP controllable. Several Blueray players are internet connected for netflix and pandora type services, but are not IP controllable.

Audio Control has several multiroom amplifiers that they say are IP controllable.

XBMC is reported to be IP controllable.

Roku: There is a developer forum at the company website with a thread describing a php remote that uses an open telnet port. [Link: forums.roku.com]

Some Samsung TV's can be controlled over wifi by an iPhone app called "TV Remote" with a couple of caveats.
1. Can't turn TV on, so still need an IR emitter to turn it on.
2. They have not released IP control protocol, so someone will have to reverse engineer it using Wireshark

Models include:
LED 6500 series or higher (model code starts with U)
LCD 650 series or higher (model code starts with L)
PDP 6500 series or higher (model code starts with P)

Several Sony Blu Ray players are IP controllable via the BD Remote for iphone app. Sony has not released the protocol however. According to this thread [Link: remotecentral.com] there is some documentation available and it will be posted here soon.

LG Commercial has some flat panel tvs that are ip controllable with an add on adapter.

Also, Apple TV is controllable via IP, but with a few caveats.
1. "Remote" iphone app, reported to work well
2. Crestron module by Autonomic, 2 way control, expensive.
3. "Tunes Remote" Android app.
4. "Pronto Tunes" module

Here's a collection of inexpensive IP to 232/IR/relay converters for those times when you have no other choice.
