Does anyone have the On/Off serial code is for the Pioneer PRO-111FD? I have the discreet codes for On and Off but I would like to program a single button that would toggle the function. Thanks.

What remote are you using?

The codes should be in the software, Pioneer pretty much uses thesame codes for all their displays.

On: \x02**PON\x03
Off: \x02**POF\x03
"You can't fix stupid."

I already have these discreet On/Off codes. What I'm looking for is the one code that'll allow me to toggle the On and Off functions using the same button. I have the MSC-400 base station along with the MX-5000 remote. I'm feeling that I might have to try programming a toggle macro of some sort in order to get around it, but I'm looking for a simpler, cleaner solution.

The RS-232 protocol document is easily available on Pioneer's website and does not require any dealer login or such. I just went and did a quick scan and it appears the only power commands are the discreet power commands. You will probably have to use some logic in the MSC-400 to replicate what you are looking for.

Yeah, I found that document also. Just thought I'd try here to see if someone had an idea if the code exists. I'm sure I can find a way to create it in the programming software.

Hello,
the MSC400 has a toggle function build into it, it will even cycle through a list of codes, like favorite channels. So create a macro and put your on/off codes in the toggle list...Every time you press power it will send out the other code..

It works very nice..Also you can make a sports button, movie button , news button etc..
