Hello All!

I am wanting to know if it is possible to program the Pioneer Elite Pro-151FD to do IP Control like the Elite Pro-141FD signature series using the Ethernet port. I know this needs to be done through the RS-232 port. If it is possible, what would be the steps needed to do this task? I know the hardware in both TV's is the same minus the TV Tuner that the Pro-141FD lacks. I am a newbie to all this. So please bare with me. I am by no means a software programmer or developer. So I know I am asking a lot. I appreciate all the information that you can provide. I do not know if it is even possible, but never hurts to ask. Thank you for all your time.

No!
The Elite PRO-101 & 141 and Pioneer KRP-500M & 600M are the only models with IP control.
The ethernet port on the others is for DLNA media streaming.

Hello,

I appreciate the response, but I am aware that those are the only models that have the IP Control feature. I was wondering if it was possible to convert the Pro-151FD to do IP Control. If it is possible, does anyone have a step by step process on how to do it? I appreciate the feedback and responses.

The only way would be to use a device or box that converts IP to RS-232.
There are devices that will do that. I think Global Cache makes one.
URC makes a RF to RS-232 (MSC-400) if that will work.
