I am looking for the protocol to control a LG Commercial LCD Monitor via an Ethernet connection to a Crestron control system. The model in particular I am interested in controlling is the LG M4224C-BA. I have found the manual for the LCD, but it only gives the protocol for controlling the set via the RS232 port. Does anyone have any experience controlling these sets via the Ethernet port and have any documentation on the protocol? I have contacted LG and have yet to hear back from them with an answer.
Thanks!

I thought I would answer my own post since I have now had time to interact with the LCD's and figure out the protocol information. The ethernet protocol to control the sets is the same as the RS232 protocol; however, the port used to control them is port 9761. I don't know how they came up with or selected that port, but I was able to figure it out using a combination of LG's software that comes with the LCD and Wireshark. Anyway, I hope someone else finds this information useful.
