Has anyone had success controlling a gefen compaud 444 video matrix serially? I am working on controlling one with a control4 HC300, and was just curious if it works, and which codes to use.
The manual has codes for the input switching. There are binary codes and ASCII codes both. Control 4's driver building utility does not seem to like the binary codes. (something about the value being 255 or less).
I was trying to be proactive and I built the driver with the ASCII codes, as these are the only ones besides binary that Gefen provided in the manual.
Just curious if anyone else has done this and succeeded or failed.

Yeah sure, you don't need the manual, right.....right. |
