I've been talking about creating a forum such as this for a while now, and finally here it is!

I hope this will prove useful for everyone that works with RS-232/serial devices, or components with IP-based control.

I've started a collection of RS-232 command sheets in the file area; it's linked to from the forum description on the top of the thread index page. If you have anything that you could add to this area, please consider sending them in to help others!

I am not going to look here very much. I'd suggest anyone who wishes my help to post on the CI forum and point to their issue here.

Hello daniel,

I saw many of your posts here at rc.com ..you are doing a good job imparting knowledge to folks around here.... i have a doubt as well..hope u can shed some light into this.. am a newbie into crestron programming.. have done some projects, but this time around i had to encounter a device controlled on TCP/IP.. The device was a "beckhoff" lighting control panel. they gave me a module but it wouldnt route the signal i was giving..i tried adding a TCP/IP master from the crestron library and routing the signal from the module.. since the signal in the module was analogue and the one in the touchpanel is digital it wudnt work.i still cudnt figure out what was wrong..i believe i am doing something wrong in this.. hope u can help me on this..waiting to hear from u..tk cr..
