Thanks alot Jim Fouch, I found out all dimmer switches with the Triac design won't operate fans below around 40%. And the fan motor will hum with all the dimming models but the hum is no problem, my fan has always hummed with the adjustable switch I have now(not X-10).I'll probably go with the PCS #SS1LS600 just for tested reliabilty. Thanks for the information. :)
