Hello everybody. Maybe I'm not quite right here with my question. Then please just let me know. I use my van as a workshop because I am a craftsman. In order to have a little more light in the hold, I wanted to install such LED strips: [Link: sortimo.com] Does anyone know if you can program something like that, that you can easily control it with the remote control? Thanks for your advice. :-)

I have added about ten feet of WHITE (5000K) LED strips in my van. It was pretty simple. They draw so little current that they don't blow the fuse on the dome light circuit. "Programming" is this: when the dome light is on, they are on.

What would you want to program your LEDs to do other than go on and off?

FWIW, the strips I have came from China via ebay. They are rated 12 VDC. Each strip is made up of individual strips a bit longer than an inch. Each little strip is a 12 volt unit consisting of three LEDs and two resistors. I mention this because the LEDs shown on the sortimo home page appear to be very bright individual units, but surely they offer many different styles and there's no way to tell what style you're interested in.

I hope you're checking here since you did not list your email address.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
