I have been using X10 for many years and signal reliability has always been an issue. I tried Insteon but it is a step backwards (IMO) from X10 in every respect except signal reliability.

Other than the compactive phase coupler I have installed is there anything out there to help with signal reliability?

Thanks,

Steve

Mr. Steve, How old is the home? Is the problem centralized, or sparatic? Are the X10 devices only used on Lighting? Are there any duplex receptacals in the branch circuit? Quite a few Electrical Contractors cut corners, by means of using the outlet as a splice. I've seen many burned up Neutral wires caused by loose terminations. The Cheap Bastards.

I'm sure you adhered to the Max. number of X-10 units per circuit?

Good Luck
