I rarely use both my TVs simultaneously. I want to use a transmitter (2nd floor) to send the digital/1080p signal from my Scientific Atlanta HD cable box to a receiver (1st floor) that has component or HDMI connectors. I also need to be able to control the IR remote from the ground floor. Can someone recommend hardware to economically accomplish this?
