Just thought you guys might be interested...For the ultimate in remote control of your X10 devices....

X10 Commander is an X10 Controller Client for the iPhone/iPod Touch and is a native iPhone/iPod Touch application that allows you to control up to 60 X10 devices anywhere in your house. Ever wanted to close the garage door while lying in your bed? How about turn the outdoor floodlights on but didn't feel like walking back downstairs to turn them on? Now you can! All you need is an X10 CM11, CM12, CM15, CM17 Firecracker, or CM19 device connected to your PC and X10 Commander will allow you to control all your X10 devices.

Forgot to mention it controls the CM11, CM12, CM15, CM17, CM19 only on a Windows machine for the server. It does not work for Linux or Mac.

I have got to say that this software is AMAZING. I have tried experimenting with PDA's Pronto's the lot and this software is TOTALLY reliable and responsive. Thanks to the developer for this great utility. Let's hope you are thinking about developing this further such as macros, zone selection etc.

Thanks again

Graham

Graham,

I think if you are using a CM15 you can store your macros in the device as House code and therefore can control them from X10 Commander by using that House code assigned to the Macro. I have other users doing exactly that. See this thread:
