Did anyone know that X10 has started adding local dimming and soft fading on and off for some of their swtiches?
I just ordered some WS467 swtiches and they now have these new features, which are awesome!
Not many seem to know about this??? The part #'s haven't changed.

I noticed.... I installed one of them in my crawl space along with a ds10a door window sensor...
I open the door and the light slowly ramps up... close the door and it ramps down...
personally I dont like it....
I only use these switches where it wont be noticed...
I have a 467 in my garage.. it comes right on... it would be horrible if it ramped on..
eagleeye detects motion and turns the light on (or the door from the house) after no motion.. .lights out...

How long does it take to get to full brightness? I have the old system and I'm not sure if I should change them, I get some macro to do it on my mx980 and its sequential. (it bothers me)

now there is a difference between them...
the garage is a ws467 but the crawl i bought from a different forum user and he labeled it as a ws467 but was a decora style... i popped the decora off and it was just like the ws467..... hmmm

2 different manufacturering dates, when the update was made. You can see the manufacturing date on the back of the units. It is on a round white sticker and usually start with a number (like 08XX). All new ones ramp up and down. Old ones just turn off and on.
