Hello all,
I was wondering if it's possible to have 2 IR543s in different rooms accessing different modules on the same house code? Will there be any interference?
Thanks

That would work fine. It would be the same as having a mini-controller in each room. Will you be using two seperate remotes, or one that you carry between rooms? Which remote(s) is it?
My solution was to get a Radio Shack 15-2117 remote that comes with a RF-to-IR transceiver, and emits RF in addition to IR. I put my IR543 in my entertainment center and have the transceiver pointing at it. I can then carry the remote to any room and have it control my X10 devices as well as all the components in my entertainment center.

I'll be using one remote that I carry between rooms. It is the ProntoPro. I know I can use the RF capabilities and have been, but am not happy with it's reliability from the farther rooms. It would seem to be easy to use IR in the farther rooms.
