I hooked up some malibu lights with a x10 appliance module to turn them on and off. With a remote I can turn them on and off with no problem. When I set up them to turn on at a scheduled time with the computer interface module it does not work. The computer interface will turn on other lights. What could the problem be.

try plugging the interface into a different outlet. also, you may need a phase coupler. is the interface plugged into the same outlet as the pc or a tv. that may be the problem. surge protectors also tend to absorb the x-10 signal.

I can plug in my b module into the same outlet and use a remote and I can control the lights. Does the computer interface module send out a weaker signal?

The CM11A output is approximately half that of the transceiver.
